SOUTH SHORE GROUP HOMES for the Mentally Ill

South Shore Group Homes are located in Fall River, Hanson, Kingston, Marshfield and Taunton. Clients of the Department of Mental Health tenant these homes. Subsidies for the units are provided either by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. SSHDC provides the management services for the property. This partnership of DMH and SSHDC allows the clients to reside in safe, decent affordable housing in the community while receiving appropriate treatment and services.

Housing for the Mentally Retarded

South Shore Community Residences are located in Bridgewater, Easton, Mattapoiset, Pembroke and Stoughton. Clients of the Department of Mental Retardation (DMR) tenant these properties. Staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week these homes enable the residents to have safe decent, housing within a community setting.
